The Fête de la Mousseline in Tarare

It is celebrated every 5 years.
150 000 metres of multicoloured muslin (mousseline) decorate the roads and streets of the town.
There are shows, concerts and a parade of floats.

The Fête du Beaujolais Nouveau

It begins on the third Wednesday of November to celebrate the “perçee” of the Beaujolais Nouveau (at midnight, the Beaujolais Nouveau is opened and tasted for the first time): 5 days of feast (2 parties, a big market, tastings and visits of cellars…)
